fuckyeahspace: Long live Spirit. This is eerie for some reason. An expensive exploring unit stuck on a distant empty planet. It’ll sit there until who knows when, until after all of us have died, or maybe until humans travel there, and it’s retrieved. This reminds me of the movie AI, where he just sits at the bottom of the ocean for hundreds of years observing and waiting.

True story: Today I was inspired by a friends photos of his bike race, and I started working on two of my goals, learn to swim, and complete an ironman triathalon.
